Summary
In this lesson, you learn about 2 very important particles in Thai language:
ค่ะ (kâ) and ครับ (kráp).
Woman put ค่ะ (kâ) at the end of their sentences to sound polite.
Men put ครับ (kráp) at the end of their sentences to sound polite.
For example:
A man would say: สวัสดีครับ (sà-wàt-dee kráp) = Hello
A female would say สวัสดีค่ะ (sà-wàt-dee kâ) = Hello
Important notes:
To sound more colloquial, men can just say คับ (káp).
You can also use ค่ะ (kâ) and ครับ (kráp) to answer "yes"
