In this video, you will learn four very commonly used Thai words that use an 'อ' in front to modify the tone of the word to a low tone.
The only four words in Thai like this are:
อยาก (yàak), with a low tone. This word means "to want".
อย่า (yàa), with a low tone. This word means "don't".
อย่าง (yàang), with a low tone. This word means "type".
อยู่ (yòo), with a low tone. This word means "to be at".
I recommend you just learn these four words and their correct tones.
We'll discuss this topic using this sentence:
'อย่าอยากอยู่อย่างนี้'
(meaning, "Don’t you want to live like this!").
