In section 2, you will learn expressions and words that are used very often. You will find a lot of these words when you go through the videos and audios lesson in sections 3-10. Each word is hand picked by me so you can be sure that they are really useful.

Take a look at what you know already and what you don't know, you can skip things that you know already but I advise you to definitely look through everything in this list.

#1 เอา

• เอาแต่ + verb = Only … all the time

• เอาแต่ + nouns = Only the ... (and nothing else)

• V+เอา+V+เอา = Keep doing something over and over

• เอาแล้ว = Oh no!

• Verb + เอาแล้วกัน = No obligation

• เอาเอง = On your own without my help

• เอาจริงๆ = To tell you the truth

#2 พวก

• พวก + noun = all these / things related to this

• อะไรพวกนี้ = 3 versions of “something like this”

• พวกที่ = The type of people that

#3 จะ

• จะได้ + verb = So that

• ถึงจะ = Although

• ต้อง...ถึงจะ = You have to … in order to

• Question + ถึงจะ = How to ... so that something happens

#4 เดี๋ยว

• เดี๋ยว = Right now, soon, later

• เดี๋ยว = Or else something bad thing will happen

• เดี๋ยวเดียว = In no time

#5 ว่า

• ว่า = To think

• ว่าแต่ว่า = By the way

• ค่อยว่ากัน = Let's deal with it later

• ว่าแล้ว = I knew it!

• ว่ามา = Say it

• ว่ากันว่า = They said

• ไม่ว่าจะเป็น = No matter what it is / whether it is … or …

#6 ที่

• ที่ว่ามา = As mentioned earlier

• การที่ = The fact that

• ที่ = The reason that…

• อย่างที่ = As you + verb

• ที่ = the person/thing that

#7 ก็

• ก็ = If...then

• Question words + ก็ = No matter how...

• ก็ = The reason is obviously/ because

#8 ให้

• verb + ให้ + adjectives = Make it that way

• verb + ให้มัน + adjectives = Make it that way!

• verb + ให้มัน + verb = Do X to make it Y

#9 นึก

• นึก = Imagine

• นึกออกปะ = You get what I mean?

• นึกไม่ถึง = Didn't expect!

• นึกจะ + verb + ก็ + verb = Suddenly feel like doing something and then just do it
