What you will learn:
In the following video you will hear the pattern เอาแต่ + verb a lot. This pattern is used to describe someone who keeps doing something repeatedly, usually in a negative or critical way. It’s similar to saying “only … all the time,” “always just …,” or “keeps on …” in English.

Easy examples:

1. เขาเอาแต่เล่นเกม
   He just keeps playing games / He only plays games.

2. เขาเอาแต่บ่นทั้งวัน
   She keeps complaining all day.

3. พวกเขาเอาแต่โทษคนอื่น
   They always blame others / They keep blaming other people.

4. เด็กเอาแต่นั่งดูมือถือ
   The kid just sits and watches the phone all the time.

2. พรหมจรรย์ = virgin

3. คนจิตใจสูง = a noble-hearted person
